From June 21, 2024, KLOKI smartwatches offer a revolutionary secure calling feature that allows you to communicate with your children anytime and anywhere. This new option provides an even greater sense of peace and safety for both parents and children.
Safe real-time calling
Thanks to the new calling feature, you can contact your children instantly without having to wait for voice messages. Real-time calling is ideal for situations where quick response is needed, whether it's for everyday communication or unexpected situations. Now you can be assured that your child is safe whenever it's necessary.
Protection and safety come first
Calls from the KLOKI watch are made via our encrypted switchboard in Europe, ensuring that communication is maximally secure. At the same time, calls are only allowed from phone numbers listed in the parental app. This means that your children are protected from unsolicited calls, scammers, or other unauthorized callers.
SOS button: Immediate help at your fingertips
Along with the calling function, KLOKI watches now also have an SOS button, which allows children to immediately contact up to three pre-set contacts in case of emergency. Just press the SOS button and the watch will attempt to call the saved numbers until it receives a response.
New Track & Talk plan
To make the most of the new calling feature, we have prepared a new Track & Talk plan for a low monthly fee. This plan includes:
- 20 free minutes for incoming and outgoing calls.
- SOS button with the option to save up to 3 contacts for quick emergency calls.
If you run out of free minutes, you can easily top up another 10 minutes for a small extra fee.
Function of the SOS button
The SOS button is linked to the calling feature and is only available with a plan that includes this option. As soon as your child presses the button, the watch automatically tries to call the saved numbers. You can store up to 10 phone numbers in the contacts, and you can manage them directly from the parent app. Even if someone knows the SIM card number in the watch, they will not be able to call if they are not listed in your authorized contacts.
How does calling work?
To ensure maximum safety for children, all calls are made through our encrypted switchboard. Every contact that has the ability to call the watch must be authorized in the mobile app. Calls are thus fully under the control of parents and protect children from unwanted calls.
Simple call activation
Activating the call feature is very easy. Follow these steps:
- Cancelling the current plan:
- Open the Findee Kids mobile app.
- Go to Watch settings > Watch tariff > Cancel plan.
- Activating a new plan:
- Choose the Track & Talk plan.
How to add a contact to the watch?
You can store up to 10 contacts in the KLOKI watch, which will be displayed with colored avatars for easy identification. Contacts can be managed through the mobile app in the section Watch settings > Contacts in watches. Without adding contacts, it will not be possible to connect with the watch.
